I hope every Mom feels as rewarded as I do at the end of the day despite having not showered or ever getting any privacy for a good decade. I have a boy and two girls and I have to agree that my boy is way more active and requires a lot more attention early on. I feel like we all have to achieve in all spectrums of life from domestic duties to child-rearing to professional development. It’s a little ridiculous societal expectation for Mother these days. I now realize people multi-task not out of preference, it’s out of necessity! I always thought it was better to focus on one task at a time and do it well. Up until I had children, I was a firm believer that multi-tasking is highly inefficient. As a Mother of 3 kids, I sometimes find myself feeding the baby, ordering groceries and checking my work email all at the same time. I didn’t really understand multi-tasking until I became a Mother. Mom life should be celebrated every day of the year and not just on Mother’s day.
